Pricing
What does BirdDoc cost?
BirdDoc is licensed per organisation, never per head: ringers without their own account record for free, and organisations in the beta cohort keep their preferential price for good – that is the pricing model, regardless of the later amount.
Please note: the BirdDoc app itself is currently available in German only. This page and the sign-up are in English; the product is not (yet).
-
Per organisation, never per head
The licence applies per organisation, not per person. A station or an association pays once for the whole group instead of licensing each ringing person individually – the price does not grow with every additional ringer.
-
Ringers without an account are free
Ringers without their own account record their captures for free. Anyone who only rings at the station occasionally takes up no paid seat and causes no additional cost.

The beta cohort keeps the preferential price
Organisations that join during the public beta belong to the beta cohort and keep their preferential price for good. A later standard price does not apply to them, even once the beta ends.
Current status: BirdDoc is in closed beta and currently free for all beta organisations. A concrete standard price has not yet been set – the pricing model above stands, regardless of the later amount.
